At Burmatex®, we design products to support the circular economy, and by utilising our recovery take-back service, you also help support it.

When it’s time to refresh your floor, the recovery take-back service gives your used carpet tiles a new lease of life. Working with our partners, we help find your used carpet tiles a new home, such as assisting local community organisations that require low-cost flooring.
Where, due to their condition, reuse is not an option, your used carpet tiles can be repurposed to generate energy for local housing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it only Burmatex® carpet tiles you take back?
If you are replacing the flooring with Burmatex® carpet tiles, we will take back any manufacturer's carpet tiles.
Do you take back LVT?
Our current service covers carpet tiles only. We hope in the future to be able to take back other forms of flooring.
Do you take back carpet tiles even if we are not using your products?
At the moment, our service is offered on projects where our carpet tiles are being fitted.
Do you take back any form of carpet tile backing?
Our service covers bitumen, cushion/acoustic back, and polyolefin backings.
Due to the environmental impact, we do not offer this service on PVC-backed carpet tiles.
